Stuck in Roorkee, When Luck Says No

What do you do when your luck always hits you badly?

I booked my ticket 17 days in advance. Cancelled. The only thing I can try now is Tatkal.  here's the problem, I have four bags. I cannot travel to Delhi, then airport, then Kathmandu, then home with all this. Train is the safest and easiest option. It was second AC, Shaheed Express. Few seats, didn't confirm.

Now, Roorkee feels boring. No one is here. Day by day, I regret staying one more useless day. And the heat 40 degrees, sixth floor. How am I even surviving?

To pass time, I keep myself busy. Coding, blogging, web series. Yesterday, I watched Made in India: The Titan Story. Six episodes, one hour each. Finished all in a single day.

My mom is waiting. She keeps asking, when will you come? Everyone asks what is next. I say I will continue my job in Kathmandu. Then they ask, did you tell the company? I cannot believe it. After so long, I am finally free. Let me enjoy. Let me spend some time with myself and family. Refreshment is also a thing. Why don't people understand? I plan to go home, spend time with family, then call the company and say I am coming.

Yesterday was special dinner. The funny part? Always there was a long queue for special dinner. This time, no queue. But the dinner was so-called special. As you know, I am veg, so paneer was the only option. There was one piece each. Maybe because only a few students are here right now.

Last night, I was thinking something weird. If I get married, how will life be? I have always been independent. Wife, let me stay independent. I have seen so many girls nowadays, how they control men.

Here, we are allowed to stay in hostel till July 30. So after a few days, I will go. I have packed 90% of my stuff. Now only the ticket is left. Once confirmed, I will go home. After one year.
